The DAMAC owner, Hussain Sajwani has been steadily building a business empire which has become the envy of many across the planet. Best known for his role as a luxury real estate developer, Sajwani has created a business empire crossing a number of different sectors and construction areas. Recently, the reputation of the DAMAC owner for building projects on time and under budget has allowed him to become a partner to many government agencies in the Middle East.

In 2002, Hussain Sajwani began his real estate work with the purchase of a piece of land in an unfashionable area of Dubai. The DAMAC owner formed his company and sold all the units in his first tower before construction began to create one of the top luxury units in the United Arab Emirates. Since that first construction, DAMAC has largely focused its work on Dubai and the surrounding areas; however, this all changed in recent years, largely because Hussain Sajwani feared to saturate the luxury market in Dubai. Instead, a deal has been signed with the Government of Oman to develop a luxury resort known as Mina Al Sultan Qaboos on the site of a disused commercial port.

As per, among the latest developments undertaken by the DAMAC owner is the AYKON One Tower in London, and the AYKON Maldives Resort. The construction of the tower in London is an impressive one with interiors designed by Versace Home and is seen as a gateway to mainland Europe by the entrepreneur. The Maldives development shows just how innovative and unique the work of the DAMAC owner has become. The resort will be wholly owned by DAMAC and is planned to be established on a reclaimed island off the coast of the Maldives where five-star luxury will be the norm. By remaining an innovator in the luxury real estate sector, Hussain Sajwani will remain at the forefront of this sector for decades to come.
