Stream Energy: The Philanthropy Model

Stream Energy is a company that hires independent contractors to build relationships with clients by meeting their personal needs with products and services. For each sale, associates earn a commission. The goal of the company is to serve the people in the community not only by meeting their needs but by supporting those in need as well. That is why Stream Cares exists to help people who are homeless or that have faced the sudden devastation of losing their home; a loved one or even a pet to a natural disaster incident. Stream Energy values the people that they serve. To give you an example of the great things that Stream Cares has accomplished let’s take a closer look at the tornado event of 2016 in North Texas.

A number of tornadoes hit the area on the day after Christmas. Because they partner with the Salvation Army, they were able to raise thousands of dollars for the people who lost their homes as a result of the storm. To prove that they are the most prominent fans of their community, they matched the amount of money raised by the Salvation Army. Operation Once in a Lifetime is another event that gave Stream Energy the ability to help Veterans in the Dallas area.

The event included a free dinner at a restaurant along with the American Girl Doll Experience program on the next day. At the American Girl Doll Experience, ten girls got to choose an American Girl Doll and eat lunch at the American Girl Cafe. Stream paid for all expenses and provided transportation so that everyone could focus on enjoying the event. Stream Energy has a heart for the people. They care about the well-being of their community.

There is no limit to the help that they provide. Their reputation will continue to grow, and more people will want to be a part of their organization and participate in the efforts that it supports. Overall, it is a role model for other companies as it does not solely focus on profit but giving back as well. The community needs to experience the goodness of another’s heart in their time of need to pull through circumstances such as these.
