Maggie Hill is the current President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Memorial Health. She is also the Ex-Official Member of Memorial Health Board of Directors. Maggie Gill exhibits excellent caliber in executing her duties. She has received MA Bachelor’s degree with honors from Florida State University. She earned her MBA with honors from Saint Leo University in Florida. She has also done her course in strategic thinking and management from Wharton School. Before she joined Memorial Health, Maggie Hill served as the Chief Official Officer for five years at Tenet South Florida Health System. While at her service there, Maggie Gill was awarded the Tenet Outstanding CFO Awards three times due to her exceptional service. In Tenet, Gill worked at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, Fla, North Shore Medical Center in Miami and Coral Gables Hospital in Coral Gables, Fla.

In 2005, Maggie Hill joined Memorial University Medical Center (MUMC) as Chief operating officer. Later in 2011, she was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Memorial Health. Maggie Gill is an excellent manager and exhibits good leadership skills. In 2016, she was involved in the new capital campaign Destination Cancer Care with the Anderson Cancer Institute. They started the campaign with a $ 1 million matching gift announcement. The campaign supported various causes like cancer-fighting technology, research on cancer in collaboration with Mercer University School of Medicine’s Savannah Campus, programs like yoga training and support groups.

Gill has also led the humble cause of starting the neonatal intensive care nursery. She efficiently manages the neonatal transport team which uses special ambulances to carry babies to the Memorial hospital from suburb arbs. She also helps in supporting the neonatal intensive care nursery at Memorial Health.

Under Maggie Gill, the Memorial Health Team has received about seven Annual Health Care Heroes Awards. She also supports the Georgia Hospital Association whose primary aim is to better the main health of the people by being the leading advocate of Georgia Hospitals and health care systems. In 2016, Maggie Hill attended the 87th Annual Membership Meeting at The Hyatt Regency, Savannah.

At MUMC, Gill provides leaderships to all Vice Presidents, Senior Vice Presidents and physician leaders as well. She also manages the relationships between doctors, government relations, internal auditing system, orthopedic and neuroscience programs, financial issues, communication management, the Health and Vascular Institute, Memorial Health University Physicians, management of facilities and trauma services as well.
