Recently, the Jerusalem Post awarded Adam Milstein with the recognition. One of the 50 most influential Jewish figures making significant impacts on a global scale, through the year. This recognition is also based on the Post’s belief that these people will also have the greatest potential to continuing their positive influence in the future.
Adam Milstein was listed as number 39 on the list, based on his guidance as the Co-founder and Chairman of the IAC (Israeli-American Council). His recognition was also based on his philanthropy work and his leadership in other Jewish organizations. These organizations include the Israeli on Campus Coalition, Hasbara Fellowships, Stand By Me, StandWithUs, AIPAC National Council, and Birthright Israel.
Alongside Adam Milstein on the list are leaders such as Senator Charles Schumer, entertainers Gal Gadot and Sarah Silverman, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Supreme Court Justices Elena Kagan and Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and philanthropists Haim Saban, Ron Lauder, Matthew Bronfman and Sheldon Adelson.
His foundation that is led by himself and his wife, the Milstein Family Foundation, spreads their mission that is built on two mainstays. These pillars involve strengthening Jewish people and their homeland, Israel. The foundation aims to strengthen the Jewish people by burning pride into the next generation of Jewish people, encouraging the Israel-U.S. alliance, and providing Jewish people with the expertise to campaign for Israel.
Adam Milstein is also a real estate investor and community leader, in addition to his philanthropic work. He is a native Israeli and served in the military during the Yom Kippur War. He graduated from school in 1978 and earned his MBA from USC after arriving in the U.S. Shortly after, in 1983, Milstein began his successful career in commercial real estate in the southern area of California.
